A domain is your business's address on the internet and a valuable asset. Losing it causes great damage.
1. Transfer lock
If transfer lock is enabled, your domain cannot be moved to another registrar without your permission. Keep it always on.
2. Strong account password
The password of the dashboard where the domain is managed must be strong.
3. Correct owner data
The domain owner's name, email and phone must be accurate and active. This is proof that the domain is yours.
4. Protect the email
If the email attached to the domain is hacked, a fraudster can reset the password and steal the domain.
5. Control the term
If the domain term expires, someone else can register it. Enable auto-renewal.
6. WHOIS protection
WHOIS privacy hides your personal data from the public database โ protecting against spam and fraud.
Regularly check your domain status in the dashboard.
