Roundcube is an open-source webmail client β a web interface used to read and send email from your browser. Created by Thomas Bruederli (Switzerland) in 2005. Included by default in cPanel, Plesk, and other hosting panels. About 4 million servers worldwide use Roundcube today.
Logging in to Roundcube
The webmail URL is typically webmail.kompaniyam.uz or mail.kompaniyam.uz. Via cPanel: click "Webmail" β choose your email β select Roundcube. Log in with your full email address (info@kompaniyam.uz) and password.
Main interface
Roundcube's interface has three panels. Left panel β folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Spam, Trash). Middle panel β email list, newest at the top. Right panel β full text of the selected email. Top toolbar β new email, reply, forward, delete, move to folder.
Composing a new email
Click "Compose". Fill in To (recipient), CC (carbon copy), BCC (blind carbon copy), Subject, Body. HTML formatting toolbar is available β bold, italic, lists, links, images. Attachments β attach files via "Attach a file". After clicking "Send" the email goes out.
Filters and folders
Roundcube supports Sieve filters: Settings β Filters β Create. Example: "Move all emails from mytaxi to the 'Tax' folder". This isn't spam β it's real email organization.
Useful features
Address Book β store contacts. Identities β if you have multiple emails (info@, sales@), set a separate signature and config for each.
Plugins β Roundcube extensions (the host has to install them): Markdown (write emails in markdown), Calendar (calendar), Tasks (to-dos), Two-factor authentication (2FA).
Vacation responder β when you're away, configure an auto-reply: "I'm on vacation from 2026-08-15 to 25, I'll reply when I return".

Settings β Preferences. Here: User Interface (interface language, theme β Larry, Elastic), Mailbox View (email layout), Displaying Messages (HTML or text), Composing Messages (default format), Mail Search, Server Settings (IMAP, SMTP).
