An NGO (Non-Governmental Organization, also "civil society organization") website serves charities, community projects, environmental movements, and educational missions. Uzbekistan's civic sector has grown over 5 years β€” 6500+ registered NGOs. But their sites are usually weak. Here's how to build a professional one.

Main elements

Mission statement on the home page β€” short and specific, 1-2 sentences. "We return education and a profession to 12-18 year-old kids who dropped out in Tashkent." Below the hero, 3 key numbers: how many helped, projects done, sum raised.

"About" page β€” organization history, mission and values, founding documents (downloadable PDF), team (leaders and key members with photos), license/registration number (Ministry of Justice).

Projects page β€” each project on its own page: goal, duration, beneficiaries (how many helped), outcomes in numbers, photos and video. This is a transparency signal β€” visitors see what you actually do.

Donation page β€” the most important element. "100K sum β€” one month of school for one child", "500K sum β€” one month of food for a family", "Other amount". Online via Click and Payme. One-time or monthly subscription.

Building trust

Trust is the most important element for NGOs β€” people give money and want to know where it goes. Trust elements: annual financial report (PDF), expenses per project, independent audit report, bank account and tax ID publicly displayed, photos and video from every event. Donor wall β€” major donor logos and names.

Volunteer and partner acquisition

"Become a volunteer" page β€” who, when, where, how to help, application form. "Partnership" page β€” for corporate CSR, media partners, government, other NGOs. Never "spam" β€” becoming a partner should be simple and transparent.

Sayt.uz practice

31 active NGO and charity sites β€” education, healthcare, ecology, gender equality, child protection. A strong NGO site: clear mission, 10+ projects, transparent financial reporting, easy donation flow, volunteer form. Site cost: 3-8M sum (we give NGOs a 30% discount), monthly service 500K-1.5M sum. Tip: an NGO site must look professional β€” an "amateur" look loses donor trust.
