On-page SEO covers everything inside a single page: title, content, internal links, keyword placement, meta tags. If technical SEO is the foundation, on-page is each page's selling weapon.
1. Target keyword
One page β one main keyword. "Buy a domain" β one page, "What is SSL" β another.
2. Title tag
50-60 chars. Keyword first. Brand at the end. Unique per page.
3. Meta description
140-160 chars. Value and CTA. Not a ranking factor but lifts CTR.
4. H1 heading
One per page. Contains the main keyword. Similar to title but can be more complete.
5. Subheadings H2, H3
Section the content. H2 β main sections, H3 β inside. LSI keywords here.
6. Content length and quality
1500+ words usually rank higher. But value matters more than length β a complete answer.
7. Keyword density
1-2% β natural. Main keyword in the first 100 words. Use synonyms too. Stuffing brings penalty.
8. URL structure
Contains the page keyword. Short and readable.
9. Images β alt and quality
Clear alt text with keyword (natural). WebP. Lazy loading. Image sitemap.
10. Internal links
From the page to other relevant ones. Clear anchor text. Usually 3-5 links.
11. External links
To authoritative sources β Google sees you as a serious resource. 2-3 is enough.
12. Schema markup
FAQ, HowTo, Article β via JSON-LD. Rich snippets.
13. For featured snippet
Clear question (H2) + 40-60 word direct answer.
14. User signals
Low bounce, long dwell, deep scroll. Short paragraphs, lists, images.
15. Sayt.uz on-page practice
Title 60, meta 155, H1 unique, FAQ schema, image alt, 3-5 internal links, 1500+ words.
